Larson Electronics has announced the release of an explosion-proof, low-profile LED light fixture for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations.
This LED fixture is approved for use in wet locations and produces 750 lumens of light output. This six-inch-long LED strip light operates on 120/240V AC.
The HAL-6-IPS-LED-1227 explosion-proof, low-profile LED light strip is made of powder-coated extruded aluminum and is rated IP65 for protection against exposure to low-pressure water jets and sealed against dust intrusion. This unit is rated for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations and measures 14” long by 2.68” wide by 1.69” deep. This unit is configured in a six-inch long strip or bar profile, allowing operators to install in locations where wide dispersal and a low profile is required.
Larson Electronics’ explosion-proof, low-profile LED light bar is an ideal replacement for HID and halogen light fixtures and is weatherproof enabling the unit to be used in indoor and outdoor locations. This unit offers a total of 750 lumens of light output and a colour temperature of 5,000K with 50,000+ hours of lamp life. This unit is mounted via two standard adjustable end brackets that mount the fixture to flat surfaces with a 170˚ vertical adjustment capability. This unit comes with 20 feet of 16/3 SOOW cable with flying leads and is suitable for indoor and outdoor hazardous locations.
