Explosion protected remote I/O for hazardous locations

R. STAHL has introduced their second generation of intrinsi- cally safe explosion protected remote I/O system. The R. STAHL IS 1 is very easy to use as it uses an ACPU and Power Module (CPM). According to requirements, several input and output modules are snapped on to the BusRail (in 35 x 15mm DIN rail). The unique power supply concept, PowerBus, developed especially for use in hazardous locations, makes system engineering simple with conventional industrial I/O systems. It is also extremely flexible. The IS 1 can be used for large and small quantities, with the option to install field stations in Division 1 or 2, Zone 1 or 2.
