Lind Equipment renames their Lind Apollo UVC LED System to Victory UVC LED Decontamination System. This rebrand comes not long after the announcement that Lind’s UVC LED technology kills at least 99.99 per cent of SARS-CoV-2.
“We chose the name ‘victory’ to represent our UVC products because of the presented long-term victory over pathogens in shared spaces. UVC LED light for decontamination will be the future of disease control in a post-COVID-19 world.” Explained Brian Astl, president of Lind Equipment.
On a global scale, we are not guaranteed to be done with COVID-19, it could become an endemic virus that comes back every year – similar to the flu. In the future, we are going to be more aware about shared spaces and public spaces how easily infections can spread. UVC light will be the solution to make shared spaces safer in COVID, but also for the next viral disease that is bound to come.
