New automation products include drive handling system

Festo’s newest electric automation products include the EXCM planar surface gantry, a compact, electro-mechanical drive handling system with two servo drives and a controller that comes fully assembled. It’s ideal for desktop applications such as dispensing, screwing in, bonding, testing as well as simple pick-and-place tasks. Also new is the cost-optimized CMMO-ST closed loop servo controller that can serve as a positioning controller for stepper motors or for managing Festo’s expanded EPCO electric cylinder family. Like the EXCM, the CMMO-ST can be ordered as complete package including the drive, motor, controller and cables, configured using any web connection.
