Ralston Instruments new hydraulic hand pump is an excellent addition to any technician’s tool kit, as it provides a stable and consistent hydraulic pressure source for calibrations and pressure tests up to 5,000 psi/35 MPa.
The pump comes with a hose and process connection, bottle and optional pressure gauge or FieldLab for a complete calibration kit.
Pump to 5000 psi/35 MPa without a complicated knob to lock into place making it easier to reach test pressures. The unique reservoir material is highly resistant to shock, extreme temperature and chemical exposure which prevents it from cracking like competitor’s reservoirs.
Handles are made from e-coated aluminum which do not fatigue or wear out over time like plastic ones. It includes two ports on pump for connecting both a pressure reference and a hose to device under test as well as Quick-test adapter for easy connection in the field.
The precision fine-adjust with bronze bearing for smooth control of pressure, even at high pressure. The bleed/vent valve has a metal to metal seat for excellent sealing at any pressure. The vent valve in cap prevents over-pressurization of liquid reservoir. Because it is user repairable with standard tools the pump can be easily maintained in the field without sending it in for maintenance.
