Series TDFS2 thermal dispersion flow switch

February 9, 2021   Don Horne

The Series TDFS2 has a superior life expectancy when compared to mechanical flow switches, as it has no paddles or vanes to wear or break, no paddles to jam, and no seals or movement assembly to wear or leak.

AVOIDS OVERHEATING

Unlike most thermal dispersion flow solutions on the market, the Series TDFS2 is not affected by empty pipes. This flow switch avoids overheating by actively heating above the process temperature and then cooling down to the process temperature.

SAVE SYSTEM ENERGY WITH LOW PRESSURE DROP

The Series TDFS2 features a low pressure drop, which saves both energy and money in a hydronic system. The probe only needs to be inserted 10 per cent into the flow with seamless installation and set up.
